PUPPET-LED YOGA
Beth Frieden, Charlotte Allan and Sonia Gardes perform a show in which Miranda the Puppet tells a story about breath and teaches a yoga lesson at the same time, inviting the audience to take part, too.
The project started at the Imaginate Fringe, and with funding from Bòrd na Gàidhlig the three performers developed the story, and Beth translated it into Gaelic.
Miranda and the team performed at the the following events:
Gaelic Day at Mugdock Country Park on Sunday 2nd June 2019
Miranda the puppet met with audiences as part of the Gaelic day celebrations at Mugdock, at 11:30am, 1:15pm and 2:45pm.
Gala Gàidhlig at the West End Festival in Partick on Saturday 8th June 2019
Miranda performed at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm at
Theatre Gu Leòr’s space: Unit 3, 22 Mansfield Street, Partick, Glasgow, G11 5QP.
Sessions were free, lasted 25 minutes and were suitable for school-aged children and adults, both with and without Gaelic.
