Freelance pool
Theatre Gu Leòr is recruiting! We’re expanding the pool of freelancers that work with us on different projects. We’re keen to hear from people working in the following roles: We prioritise Gaelic language skills, but are also keen to hear from learners. Aiteal: Writers’ retreat
Aiteal is a retreat for Gaelic writers at various levels of experience, who are looking to develop their playwriting skills. It will take place in Cromarty from 27/11/25 to 01/12/25. Applications can be submitted through this form. Deadline: midday on Friday 10th October. Further information is available here:
SEND US A SCRIPT
If you’ve written a full partial draft of a script, send it to us at info@theatreguleor.com. Within a month you’ll receive feedback from us on the script itself, and advice on next steps.
OPEN DOOR
We offer 1:1 advice sessions to artists and theatre professionals, both new and established. We can discuss employment opportunities, mentoring, professional development, script development, or whatever is most useful for you. Sessions can take place online, in Glasgow, or at one of our in person Open Door sessions around the country.
